SYNOPSIS: In the future, the majority of children are conceived in vitro and genetic selection techniques. Ethan Hawke Vincent is one of the last naturally conceived children, but born with a heart defect for which do not give more than thirty years. It is an "invalid" anyone sentenced to less pleasant to occupy posts of society. By contrast, his brother Anton gets the best of the genetics of their parents, which granted access to countless opportunities. Since childhood, Vincent dreams of going to space but, by his invalid condition, is aware of that can never be chosen whatever you do. For years carries all kinds of work until one day contact with a man who provides the key to advance to the elite: to take the identity of Jerome Jude Law, a true athlete who was paralyzed because of an accident. So Vincent can access the Gattaca Corporation, an aerospace industry where it is selected for a mission to Titan. To cope with the constant genetic testing that is submitted, you must use wisely the blood and tissue samples that prepares you Jerome. Everything will be fine until the mission director is murdered and the subsequent investigations will continue to create difficulties for your plan.

To

who have not seen this movie, I highly recommend, especially in HD, a spectacle. I want to clarify that many post put HighDef, HD, 720p, which is true, the videos have that resolution, but when I drop occupies 700MB or 1.4GB. It is obvious that these videos are highly compressed (mostly with H.264) and more than they really are 720p (1280X528 if they are wide, 1280 X 720 if 4:3) video quality drops dramatically. This film has so many links because it has a high quality compression. If you want "true high def" movies do not fall less than 4GB.

Returning to the film, the film deals in depth the issue of genetic selection, a subject extremely interesting from the point of view of ethics. Is it right to select embryos that are "better" genes?
