Hey guys!
Here I bring I bring an issue that is something that is always present and significant advances.
I'm going to focus on several aspects. Some general of AI and other points of interest.
artificial intelligence, since its inception has been aimed at trying to understand the thought processes of us humans.
has been a paradigm for computing, how to carrying out emulation of mental processes, or better said, of intelligence.
But what I mean by intelligence? The way we handle the information we have on our environment, process it in a rational way and we can make a conclusion based on our attitude.
Here are many aspects that are broad, such as information management. Not so much the handling, but after handling; man keeps this information to be used on another occasion. For artificial intelligence, is a challenge to know and understand how we store this information and we access it to make a decision, but a machine can not do as we in our minds.
So because of this raised a question arises recursive something many people familiar with the subject and society in general: Will the machines capable of thinking and being smart as humans?
Personally my answer would be: present but can not reach a level of intelligence as a man, not as a man. Reason? It is clear that technology is advancing by leaps and bounds and it is possible that in the not too distant future as we think, we can provide computers and electronic devices, a degree of intelligence and reasoning that may be granted a certain degree independence. However, there will be a detail that we could not explain and I've already mentioned: what happens in our minds all the reasoning process of information through that, we managed our intelligence.
If we find that, we can provide the same intelligence computers than ours, but in the meantime no.
Following this, there is a curious detail is that if this would affect us as human beings. Should view it from multiple viewpoints.
If we give the computer and / or appliances of intelligence, could affect us very well. Thinking positively, we would be of much benefit in many aspects such as health, to give an example, where it could simply be the patient's symptoms and that computer is endowed with intelligence assumes a result for the benefit of the patient. So there are many cases where the IA we change the lives and thinking.
Now, a detail that arises is: Is man by providing intelligence to a machine would be intelligent? A very interesting question. It would be difficult to resolve but I believe in an idea: "if man dotase intelligence to a computer for more effective it may be, can never be as smart as men." Why? For we remember that man is the perfect machine. The human being is a non-electronic machine but wisely makes their needs and problem solving through natural processes.
Now, talking about another aspect, we could establish ourselves where we want to get with the intelligence in machines. My perspective is based on that in the decade of the 50, it was possible to do a test to help identify whether a machine is intelligent or not. I refer to the Turing test. Is whether one is talking to a person or a machine. So far no system has been achieved. What can we conclude? That only we could add intelligence to a certain extent and not enough like humans. But as I said before, until they fully understand the human process, we can not provide the same intelligence to machines. So, lacking that "something" that we humans and that is the key to achieving the objective of the IA.
Being consistent, I think to provide a computer and / or appliance, we have to be based on a knowledge-based system, bringing this up. As we know, such a system attempts to mimic and even exceed our intelligence, which in this case, would a human expert and if you have intelligence, effectively react to situations and be expert in these things. Then taking account of the IA with the knowledge-based systems, artificial intelligence promises much progress in regard to developing a system that can be likened to our intelligence and how we do in our minds. In addition to looking than intelligence in machines, we have a better life.
Ah! But a little something interesting comes back well I've tried. If the man manages the mission "we will become obsolete? My answer is no, based on the fact that the machines even though we can compare, they can never be as intelligent human beings we will never have that thing that we have by divine grace.
Now, the man would not become obsolete if endow intelligence and reasoning at a time. If the man is intelligent, reasonable and makes findings why it would stop after he gave that power to a machine? It is somewhat contradictory that if man is smart, why is will win a machine that can be compared back with him?
conclude by saying that artificial intelligence could be a double-edged sword, but I think that we ourselves determine where we want to reach and how far we progress.
There is still a long way to go and from here to there can be many things that affect it significantly. The key to success is to think intelligently and rationally.
Well, I hope you like it is. Saellvertu
